SCENARIO:
An event is coming up where all tickets will be the same price. There is an opportunity to purchase an extra item.
The following provides information to create an Event Ticket item with a base price.
Each ticket is the same price, i.e., for general admission to an event.
This item example also includes an option with choices which are an extra cost.
QUESTION:
Should this item be set up as one item or multiple items?
BEST PRACTICE:
It is always best to create a separate item where additional items are for sale in addition to the ticket prices.
However, if it is deemed to have everything in one item, then be sure to add a No Extras option choice. See the choice name and price information noted below.
The Knowledge Base offers numerous item creation articles, including Best Practices.
