Starting December 7, 2023, we’re replacing all bar codes on SchoolCash Online and SchoolCash Register receipts with QR codes which are proven to scan much faster on handheld devices. Not only that, but they’re less likely to result in scanning errors as they have built-in error correction capabilities that allow them to be scannable even if a part of the code is damaged or obscured.
As part of the transition to QR codes, all electronic receipts from previous purchases will also automatically be updated with QR codes. And not to worry, printed barcodes on physical receipts will still be scannable on your devices.
