Overview

If your district sweeps interest to SGF, transfer the interest amount from the Investment bank account to the SGF bank account after reconciliation is complete.

Steps

  1. In the Investment account, go to General > Transfer Entries.
  2. Select Transfer Between Two Commercial Bank Accounts.
  3. Enter the amount and choose the Investment Interest category in SGF as the receiving category.
  4. Save and print the transfer summary if required.

Outcome

Interest is moved from the Investment account to SGF and appears on reports accordingly.  **Note: This transfer only moves funds within SchoolCash Accounting accounts.  You will need to initiate a transfer between your physical bank accounts at your banking institution as well.
