Overview

This article explains how to change the Year-End Rollover date in SchoolCash Accounting (SCA). The steps differ depending on whether you update the date at the bank account level or at the district level. 

Before you begin

  • District-level changes can only be performed by a District Administrator.


Steps

Change the Year-End Rollover date at the bank account level

  1. From the Main Menu, select Program Maintenance > Table Maintenance > Lookup Table Maintenance > Bank Accounts.
  2. Click the Bank Account you want to update.
  3. Select the Modify tab.
  4. Update the Year-End Rollover date.
  5. Click the check mark to save.

Note: After the Year-End Rollover is completed, this date updates automatically.

Change the Year-End Rollover date at the district level

  1. From the Main Menu, select Program Maintenance > Table Maintenance > Board Maintenance.
  2. Click the Board Name.
  3. Select the Modify tab.
  4. Update the Year-End Rollover date.
  5. Click the check mark to save.

Note: At the district level, this date must be updated manually each year after the rollover date has been reached.

Outcome

The Year-End Rollover date is updated. Bank account–level dates update automatically after rollover; district-level dates require a manual update each year.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot access the Modify tab, confirm you have the required permissions or District Administrator access.
  • If the date does not save, verify that you clicked the check mark to confirm changes.
  • If the system does not reflect the updated date, refresh your session or log out and back in.
