Basics Section
- Item name - Make it easy for your parents to identify what is for sale
- Description - Inform parents of all the details, provide the 5 W details (Who, What, Where, When & Why)
- Picture - Worth a thousand words
Financials Section
- School Year - Defaults to the current school year; if you are creating for next year, change it
- Accounts - Select the account to receive revenue
Availability Section
- Effective Date - The day the item is available for parents to pay Online and bookkeepers to use Register
- End Date - Last day the item is available for parents to purchase Online
- Item setup accepts defaults for Limit Per Student, Limit Quantity, and Visibility
Extras Section
- Basic Item setup does not have Options and Choices
- Not activating Scheduled Payments and Permission Form

- This is the time, before it goes live, to ensure the setup is correct.
- Does the item appear and react the way you envisioned?
Save Options
- Save and Attach - Saves item and takes the user directly to the Attachment window
- Save and Create New - Saves item without attaching and opens a new item; good for next year preparation
- Save and Copy - Saves item without attaching and opens an identical copy; useful for items requiring limited changes
- Save - Simply saves the changes
- Cancel - Will require you to Confirm cancellation
