This guide outlines the process for recording a partial payment in SchoolCash Online. Schools can use this function when accepting a portion of a fee while allowing the remaining balance to be paid later. This ensures accurate financial tracking and visibility for both schools and parents.

Accepting a Partial Payment for a Student

  1. Payment Action – Select the Partial Payment option.
  2. Current Charges – Enter the partial payment amount.
  3. Comments – Optional, not required.

Balance Owed – The remaining balance will display in SchoolCash Online for the parent.

Waiving a Portion of a Fee

Schools may choose to waive a portion of a fee, allowing the parent to pay the remaining amount. This may result in a parent coming to the school to pay their portion, which is considered a partial payment.
