Introduction

This article provides instructions for adding a new POS device using the Point of Sale Management feature in SchoolCash Accounting (SCA). It also explains how device assignments to a cash drawer for use with the SchoolCash Register are managed by the KEV team.

Steps to Assign a POS Device

  1. In the SchoolCash Register, navigate to the Point of Sale section from the left-side menu.

  3. Enter the device serial number, select the school from the dropdown, and change the device model if needed. Then, press Add to finish pairing the device to the selected school.

Important Information on Cash Drawer Assignment

Device assignment to a cash drawer for use with the SchoolCash Register can only be done by the KEV team. Please contact support to complete this setup. This feature is not yet available to users directly but is expected to be included in an upcoming release.
